Production Scheduler - Job Description

We're looking for a detail-driven, solutions-oriented Production Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you'll be the point person for keeping jobs on track-scheduling production, coordinating with department managers, and ensuring customer expectations are met (and exceeded) every step of the way. What You'll Do:

• Build and maintain daily production schedules across all departments
• Lead morning and afternoon production meetings to ensure alignment
• Coordinate timelines with Prepress, Bindery, and external vendors
• Update schedules in real-time based on customer feedback and production changes
• Monitor capacity, identify bottlenecks, and provide solutions to maximize efficiency
• Communicate with Sales, Account Managers, and Department Managers on any job conflicts or changes
• Analyze production data and create visual updates for team meetings
• Support long-term planning and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring:

• High School Diploma required; associate's degree or higher preferred
• 2+ years of experience in the printing industry preferred
• Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external vendors
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with PACE and/or Print Flow is a plus
• Knowledge of the production process, including Prepress, Press, Bindery, and Customer Service
