- Manage repair and maintenance of manufacturing facilities and equipment, including installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic equipment, tools, and instruments.
- Plan and prioritize work orders and schedule overall repair and maintenance activities to minimize production downtime and disruptions.
- Lead and coordinate teams of maintenance professionals, overseeing two or more direct reports.
- Monitor and achieve operational and financial results for the maintenance area.
- Conduct people‑management actions such as hiring, terminating, rewarding, training, and developing employees.
- Apply knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in production settings.
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs using a CMMS.
- Interpret and administer policies, processes, and procedures that affect maintenance work units.
- Develop schedules and performance requirements and may have budget responsibilities.
- Interact frequently with internal personnel and external representatives, presenting and participating in meetings to resolve operational and scheduling issues.
- Ensure safe quality food requirements are met by following plant rules, processes, hygiene, and allergen procedures and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Participate in SQF root‑cause and corrective actions arising from customer complaints, audits, validation, and verification activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is a plus; equivalent work experience accepted.
- 5–7 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
- 3+ years of leadership experience overseeing maintenance teams or skilled trades.
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems used in production settings.
- Experience developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs using a CMMS.
- The candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
