- Entry Level (Entry Level)
- Follow all company safety rules and good manufacturing practices (GMPs)
- Produce high quality products in a safe and healthful manner
- Complete assigned shift attendance
- Work in all areas of production and packaging as assigned, including operating and being in close proximity to or crossing platforms over machinery
- Assist fellow employees as needed
- Quality inspection
- Monitoring/Operating equipment (palletizer)
- Stock production lines with materials
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment
- Track quality and waste metrics
- Emphasis on sanitation/cleaning
- Assist line technicians in general daily activities
- Maintain forklift and floor jacks
- Move finished skids to warehouse area
- Must be able to report to work on time and work the entire scheduled work period or shift; attendance is required
- Handle and manage stress successfully
- Accustomed to and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, complex, and busy environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a can‑do mindset
- Flexible and able to work additional hours when workload, deadlines, production requirements, shift coverage or overtime demands arise
- Team player, willing to share and help others, professional and cooperative
High-school degree or equivalent is required.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMPs, and general instructions. Good communication skills are required.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out both oral and written instructions.
Physical DemandsRegularly required to stand and walk at least 70 % of the time, lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally, and frequently lift 30–35 pounds. Must squat, kneel, and bend frequently. Must work 12‑hour shifts with flexibility for additional hours as needed. Must work in cold (40–50 °F) and hot (90–100 °F) environments, tolerate exposure to flour and yeast, and climb steps and vertical ladders up to 10 ft on a frequent basis.
