CNC Machine Operator
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce high-quality components.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred.
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with multi-spindle screw machines.
- Knowledge of G-code and CNC programming basics.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.

Work EnvironmentWork in a machine shop setting with exposure to noise and oils, Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm for first shift, and Monday to Thursday from 5pm to 5am for second shift. Second shift will train on first shift for 1-2 months.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
