In the role of BIM Model Manager Senior – Digital Delivery Lead, we’ll count on you to:

  • Provide direction for the Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists, managing the digital model environment and deliverables at the project level
  • Possess an advanced understanding of how all disciplines interact and how construction documents are produced
  • Work directly with the Project Manager to assist the Coordinators and Specialists in generating and maintaining the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and the project initiation procedure, establishing the server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables outlined in the scope
  • Execute digital deliverables and support production teams throughout the complete lifecycle of projects
  • Provide technical support while communicating the deliverable schedule to the project team
  • Monitor model health and coordination processes from planning through issuance of construction documents
  • Execute these tasks autonomously and mentor and guide other team members
  • Oversee and contribute to the development and maintenance of the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP)
  • Monitor and oversee the establishment of the document management system and help maintain the server infrastructure for multi‑discipline projects
  • Ensure the team identifies the appropriate software, versions, and provides access and training needed to execute the project requirements
  • Provide project‑specific training and process‑specific training to project team members
  • Generate and maintain model setup including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match‑lines, views, sheets, and general models to accommodate disciplines and project requirements
  • Monitor and maintain company standards and model health
  • Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the Digital Design team to ensure optimal quality control through design reviews and 3D coordination processes
  • Communicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables and exchange processes at predetermined milestones
  • Archive projects at submittals and closeout
  • Engage in close and effective communication and presentations with HDR management, production staff, and clients
  • Mentor staff to help develop their skillsets
  • Provide guidance for Project Managers to support project needs
  • Engage with other Digital Delivery Leads to provide support and guidance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • A minimum of 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) and 5 years digital delivery (model management) experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of all discipline relations and operations of building systems
  • Advanced skillset in 3D design software and document management infrastructure
  • Advanced skillset in 3D coordination tools
  • Advanced skillset in Microsoft Office products and communication tools
  • Familiar with industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications
  • Familiar with basic automation and programming applications for efficiencies
  • Familiar with 3D design software add‑ins and supporting applications
  • Familiar with content creation and management concepts
  • Superior client service, communication, and presentation skills are essential
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to serve as a first line of technical support
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and leadership traits are essential
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize between technical support requests and project work
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and an excellent work ethic

Required Qualifications

  • Technical degree or a combination of education and related industry experience
  • A minimum of 5 years related industry experience
  • Advanced skillset in 3D design software and document management infrastructure
  • Advanced skillset in 3D coordination tool
  • Competency in Microsoft Office products and communication tools
  • Advanced understanding of engineering or architectural concepts
  • Knowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational traits are essential
