Responsibilities- Manage the digital model environment and deliverables for an entire project.
- Understand how all disciplines interact and how construction documents are produced.
- Work directly with advanced Digital Delivery Leads to execute digital deliverables outlined in the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP).
- Initiate the project by establishing server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables outlined in the project scope.
- Execute digital deliverables and support the production team throughout the project duration.
- Provide technical support and communicate the deliverable schedule to the project team.
- Monitor the model health and coordination processes from planning through issue of construction documents.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP).
- Establish the document management system and maintain the server infrastructure for multi‑discipline projects.
- Identify appropriate software, versions, and provide access needed to execute project requirements.
- Provide project‑specific training and process‑specific training to project team members.
- Generate and maintain model setup, including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match‑lines, views, sheets, and general models to accommodate disciplines.
- Monitor and maintain company standards and overall model health.
- Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the project team to ensure optimal quality control through Design Reviews and 3‑D coordination processes.
- Communicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables and exchange processes at predetermined milestones.
- Archive project data at submittals and close‑out.
- Engage in close and effective communication and presentations with HDR management, production staff, and clients.
- Technical degree or a combination of education and related industry experience.
- Minimum of 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of all discipline relations and operations of building systems.
- Advanced skillset in 3‑D design software and document management infrastructure.
- Advanced skillset in 3‑D coordination tools.
- Advanced skillset in Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
- Familiarity with industry standards, practices, discipline codes, and specifications.
- Familiarity with basic automation and programming applications for efficiencies.
- Familiarity with 3‑D design software add‑ins and supporting applications.
- Familiarity with content creation and management concepts.
- Superior client service, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for first‑line technical support.
- Commitment to being an active participant in an employee‑owned culture.
- Technology‑qualified with 3‑D design software and document management infrastructure.
- Competency in Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational traits.
- Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
