About the Opportunity

Concentric Corporation is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations for a growing production facility in Omaha. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily plant operations, driving production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and developing high‑performing teams.

Position Overview

The Production Manager will oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production, maintenance, warehouse activities, quality, scheduling, and safety. This individual will work closely with executive leadership to improve operational performance, manage budgets, optimize workflows, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Success in this role requires strong leadership, operational planning, and the ability to balance production goals with quality, safety, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, safety, and delivery objectives.
  • Develop production schedules and coordinate staffing, equipment, and resources to maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor plant performance, productivity, and workflow while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with leadership to develop operational strategies, budgets, and long‑term production plans.
  • Oversee production, maintenance, warehouse, and quality teams while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality systems.
  • Drive process improvements that increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve operational performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels, production metrics, and cost controls.
  • Conduct employee coaching, performance evaluations, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Coordinate with engineering, sales, customer service, and other departments to ensure successful project execution.
  • Maintain accurate production reports, documentation, and operational records.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and efficient manufacturing environment.
Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and manufacturing leadership experience.

Years of

Experience:

6–8+ years of progressive manufacturing or operations leadership experience.

  • Strong background in manufacturing operations and production management.
  • Experience with operational planning, workflow analysis, and production scheduling.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple departments within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing production budgets, labor planning, and operational performance.
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, safety programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing reporting systems.
