Duration: 60–90 Day Contract

Pay: $24–$26/hr

A leading contract manufacturer specializing in beauty, personal care, and over-the-counter (OTC) products. They partner with major brands to develop and produce high-quality formulations, packaging, and finished goods. The company focuses on innovation, speed-to-market, and maintaining strong quality and regulatory standards across all manufacturing operations.

Insight Global is seeking a Production Specifications Coordinator to support the Quality function for a leading beauty/CPG manufacturer. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring all finished goods specifications are accurate, complete, and aligned with regulatory and customer requirements. This is a fast-paced, high-impact contract role supporting active product development and manufacturing operations.

• Create, maintain, and update finished goods specifications including:
  • Formulas
  • Packaging
  • Labeling
  • Assembly requirements
• Manage approximately 25 specifications per week with strong attention to detail
• Ensure accuracy, version control, and documentation approvals
• Collaborate with:
  • Project Management
  • Quality Assurance
  • Manufacturing
  • Packaging teams
• Review packaging, artwork, and BOMs for consistency and compliance
• Support new product launches by completing documentation ahead of timelines
• Maintain specification databases and assist with change management processes
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards

• 2–5 years of experience with production specifications or technical documentation in a CPG environment
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Background in product development, quality assurance, or manufacturing
• (1+ year with relevant degree acceptable)

• Experience in CPG, beauty, personal care, or OTC industries
• Familiarity with:
• Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Packaging specifications
• PLM systems
• Quality management systems
• Exposure to change control processes and supplier coordination
