Production Associate - Hiring ASAP
As a Production Associate, you work on the production line in a food manufacturing environment, following all safety and SFQ rules while supporting general production and stacking activities. You contribute to efficient operations by performing general labor tasks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and helping ensure that products meet quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities- Work on the production line in a food manufacturing environment, performing general production and stacking tasks as assigned.
- Follow all safety and SFQ rules at all times to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
- Carefully follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors and leads to complete daily production tasks.
- Handle baked goods and other products on the line, ensuring proper stacking, organization, and flow through the production process.
- Perform general labor duties such as loading, unloading, sorting, and moving materials or products as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including promptly addressing spills in wet and slippery conditions.
- Stand for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks on the production line.
- Lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 40 pounds as part of regular duties.
- Bend, stoop, and reach frequently to handle materials and operate equipment safely.
- Work under the direct supervision of a supervisor or lead, communicating any issues or concerns promptly.
- Adhere to production schedules and meet productivity expectations while maintaining quality standards.
- Support team members and assist in other areas of the production floor as directed.
- Ability to carefully follow instructions and work diligently in a structured production environment.
- Comfort working in a food manufacturing setting with varying temperatures and wet, slippery conditions.
- Capability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds safely and repeatedly.
- Willingness and physical ability to bend, stoop, and reach frequently during the shift.
- Reliability and consistency in attendance, especially with extended shifts and regular overtime.
- Ability to work under direct supervision and respond positively to feedback and direction.
- Basic familiarity with general labor, production line, and stacking tasks.
Skills & Qualifications
- No specialized training required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Previous experience in production, food manufacturing, general labor, or general production is helpful but not mandatory.
- Comfort working long shifts and up to six days per week.
- Willingness to work both day and night shifts as scheduled.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
