Associate Technician (AR) responsible for preparing, cleaning, and racking lenses to be processed through the wash and/or hard coating machines while adhering to company quality and safety requirements.

This position requires exposure to one or more hazardous substances/chemicals which requires safety training.

• Inspect and prepare lenses for coating, including sorting envelopes by coating type and date, verifying envelope information, and logging any special instructions.
• Clean and inspect each lens for scratches or other surface conditions and record findings.
• Rack lenses onto appropriate tooling and process through cleaning or coating machines.
• Perform daily and weekly upkeep of equipment, ensuring supplies are stocked.
• Sandblast machine parts as required.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement processes.
• Maintain a neat and organized work area and common department areas.
• Follow all company and manufacturer policies and procedures, complying with attendance, safety rules, and confidentiality requirements.
• Assist colleagues to maintain workload balance and meet deadlines, demonstrating a cooperative attitude.
• Provide training, guidance, and technical support to less experienced employees.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
