CompensationCompetitive pay: $23.47 per hour. After six months the pay is increased to $26.08 per hour. Shift differential of $1.25 per hour for all hours worked between 6pm and 6am.
Job PurposeLab experience preferred; use instruments to complete chemical and biological testing such as pH, viscosity, fat, protein, coliform count, APC count, yeast and mold count. Under regular supervision, performs required tests and quality control inspections of raw materials, in‑process batches, and finished goods. Accurately records, communicates, and files results. Performs routine line inspections on the production floor.
This is a 3rd‑shift position. Shift hours are 10:00 PM–6:30 AM. May be subject to change based on operations and business necessity. Weekend and overtime work will be required based on production and operational needs. The position requires regular and prompt attendance during the scheduled hours set by the Department Manager.
Duties And Responsibilities- Perform quality control inspections on production samples.
- Perform chemical and microbiological analysis on raw materials and final products to verify adherence to specifications.
- Perform routine line inspections, audits, and equipment checks on the production floor.
- Use keen observation, clear communication, and good judgment to catch, address, and prevent production errors.
- Approve release of products and materials.
- Maintain various production and raw material testing and problem logs and records.
- Store production and raw material samples.
- Consult with supervision to troubleshoot lab and production floor problems.
- Maintain lab equipment and keep work area clean.
- Perform all operations according to Safety Policies, Good Lab Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Report and take necessary action to prevent food safety and quality problems.
- Communicate effectively, efficiently, and in a timely manner within the quality department and with other departments throughout the plant at all levels.
- Perform sanitation inspections on equipment and facility to maintain a sanitary and food‑safe environment.

Qualifications And Experience- Minimum education:
not specified. - Experience in SAP; laboratory and QA experience preferred.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to use various laboratory equipment.
- Ability to perform inspections on the production floor.
