2nd shift Production Lead

Title: 1st and 2nd shift Production Lead

Location: Omaha, NE

Hours: M-TH 5:45 am - 4:00 pm OR 3:45 pm - 2:15am
* Fridays as needed

• Monitoring production schedules, adjusting staffing and resources as needed to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Identifying and addressing any production‑related issues or bottlenecks promptly.
• Collaborating with the Production Supervisor to implement process improvements and training programs.
• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members.
• Maintaining accurate records of production output, downtime, and other key metrics.
• Closing out production work orders and performing other documentation as required.

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• At least one year of experience in a leadership role, including leading teams, projects, or initiatives.
• Become certified operator in the work center within 60 days.
• Ability to work with hay and hay‑based products.
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
• Lift up to 50 pounds (100‑pound requirement for bulk), with some overhead lifting.
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, push, pull and walk across uneven surfaces while working.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English is required.
