Hiring - Machine Operator
This role involves operating press machines in a climate-controlled production environment. You will rotate through multiple workstations on the production floor, ensuring accurate printing, quality control, and safe machine operation. The position requires strong attention to detail and excellent vision for reading and checking product.
Responsibilities
- Operate a press machine to print dog-collar tags according to production specifications and quality standards.
- Rotate through several workstations on the production floor to support different stages of the manufacturing process.
- Carefully read and inspect tags to verify accuracy, clarity, and overall quality before they move to the next stage.
- Lift and handle metal coils weighing 50–100 pounds several times per day to feed materials into the machines safely and efficiently.
- Use hand tools and tape measures to assist with machine setup, adjustments, and basic measurements as needed.
- Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials, making minor adjustments, and ensuring proper operation.
Essential Skills
- At least 1 month of machine operating experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- At least 6 months of production experience in a similar setting.
- Perfect vision to accurately read, inspect, and verify printed tags and small details.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day and handle heavier coils with proper technique and support.
- Ability to stand on your feet for up to 8 hours per day while performing machine operation and warehouse duties.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Comfort working with rotating tasks and multiple workstations on a production floor.
- Reliability and punctuality for a consistent first-shift schedule.
- Willingness to perform both machine operation and general housekeeping duties as needed.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a production team.

This is a contract position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
