Production Associate

The Production Associate operates manufacturing equipment, assembles and packages products, and ensures all quality standards are consistently met. This role supports daily production goals by performing tasks such as boxing, palletizing, lifting up to 35 pounds, and sorting and bagging product. The Production Associate follows all safety guidelines and works closely with the production team to maintain an efficient and smooth workflow.

Responsibilities
  • Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures.
  • Assemble products accurately to meet quality and production specifications.
  • Box finished products and prepare them for shipment or storage.
  • Palletize boxed products in an organized and secure manner for transport.
  • Lift, move, and handle materials and products weighing up to 35 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Sort and bag product according to product type, size, or customer requirements.
  • Inspect products and packaging for defects or inconsistencies and report issues promptly.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions in English to complete daily tasks and meet production goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of equipment and materials.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively to support a smooth production flow.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment and respond to changing production needs as directed by leadership.
Essential Skills
  • At least one year of production experience.
  • Ability to operate basic production and packaging equipment safely.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic familiarity with production activities such as packaging, assembly, and inspection.
  • Ability to work safely around materials such as hay or grass without grass allergies.

Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing environment that involves working with materials such as hay or grass, so candidates must be comfortable working around these materials and free from grass allergies. The schedule follows a four-day workweek with 10-hour shifts from Monday through Thursday. First shift runs from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and second shift runs from 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. The work involves standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 pounds, and performing repetitive production and packaging tasks in a fast-paced setting while following safety and quality procedures.

The pay range for this position is $18.34 - $19.34/hr.
