Fabricator
Our client, in Omaha NE, a leading industrial products manufacturer, is seeking a Fabricator to join their team. As a Fabricator, you will be part of the Fabrication Department supporting production and operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently — qualities that will align successfully within the organization.
Location:Omaha, NEPay Range: $22 - $24/hr DOEWhat's the Job?
• Operate fabrication machinery including CNC lasers, waterjets, press brakes, rollers, punch presses, milling machines, grinders, and saws
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to produce accurate fabricated components
• Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and squares to verify precision
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions, labor reporting, and material tracking through ERP systems
• Support continuous improvement efforts and adhere to 5S, safety, quality, and ISO standards
• 1–2 years of experience in a fabrication or job-shop environment
• Ability to safely set up and operate a wide range of fabrication machinery
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Ability to interpret blueprints and perform basic algebra, geometry, and metric conversions
• Familiarity with ERP systems and willingness to complete forklift and overhead crane certification
• Wages: $22 - $24/hr DOE
• Shift: Monday-Thursday 1:00pm- 11pm
