Product Marketing Manager, AI

Compensation: $80,000-$120,000 per year

As a Product Marketing Manager, AI at Buildertrend, you'll be a strategic part of driving our next phase of growth and help shape how contractors understand and use the technology that is changing residential and commercial construction. You’ll turn complex AI capabilities into clear customer value, lead go-to-market efforts, and equip sales and customer success teams to help builders get more from Buildertrend.

Your work will connect product strategy to real customer outcomes, helping contractors spend less time on paperwork and more time growing their businesses.

• Lead go-to-market planning for AI capabilities and broader platform initiatives, aligning product, sales, marketing and customer success around launch goals, timelines and customer value.
• Develop clear, differentiated messaging and positioning that translates AI capabilities into practical benefits for contractors and supports pipeline and revenue growth.
• Partner with product managers, sales leaders, demand generation and customer success to incorporate customer, market and competitive insights into product marketing strategies.
• Create sales enablement tools and content that help sellers explain product value, address customer needs and move opportunities forward.
• Turn customer insights into actionable messaging, campaigns and programs that reflect what builders and remodelers need to run their businesses more effectively.
• Drive feature adoption by partnering with customer success and marketing on content and programs that help customers understand what’s new, why it matters and how to get value from it.
• Become a subject matter expert on key areas of the Buildertrend platform, including AI-powered capabilities, and translate complex product details for internal and external audiences.
• Develop thought leadership and competitive content that demonstrates Buildertrend’s understanding of construction technology and the needs of the industry.
• Use AI tools thoughtfully to improve your work, while applying sound judgment, learning continuously and owning the quality and accuracy of your final work.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 6 years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, with experience launching products or features and delivering high-quality work on schedule.
• Previous experience in construction technology, field service, vertical SaaS or positioning AI-powered products for nontechnical audiences is a plus.
• Strong messaging and positioning skills, with the ability to make complex product capabilities clear and relevant to both contractors and sales teams.
• Experience partnering with sales and customer success teams to develop practical tools and content that support customer conversations and business results.
• A relationship builder who can gather input from across the organization, bring people together around a clear direction and move work forward with limited structure.
• Comfortable balancing immediate priorities with longer-term product marketing initiatives and adjusting as product and business needs change.
• Curious about customers and motivated to understand what builders and remodelers care about, what gets in their way and how technology can help.
• A portfolio or examples of product launches, messaging, sales enablement materials or other product marketing work you can discuss in detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize information, present ideas clearly and adjust the level of detail for the audience.
