Who We Are
The Nebraska Alliance is a growing nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing Nebraska’s response to child abuse and neglect through the CAC model. We serve as the nationally accredited state chapter and membership organization for Child Advocacy Centers in Nebraska (CAC).
We strengthen the CAC model approach by providing training, technical assistance, and capacity-building support; fostering statewide partnerships; and leading advocacy efforts that advance coordinated, trauma-informed responses for children and families.
How we work matters as much as what we do. Our organization is grounded in three core values:
- Collaboration:
We work in partnership with diverse people, organizations, and systems to make a difference for children and families. - Commitment:
We care deeply about this work and consistently go above and beyond to support our partners and the communities they serve. - Leadership:
We ask critical questions, take on complex statewide initiatives, and work collaboratively to find solutions that move systems forward.
This role is designed for a collaborative professional who is passionate about strengthening advocacy support and improving access to mental health services for children and families impacted by abuse. The ideal candidate excels at building relationships, coordinating projects, and supporting professionals across a statewide network. They are comfortable working with diverse stakeholders, facilitating communication, and helping move initiatives from planning to implementation.
Success in this position requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, a commitment to trauma-informed practice, and the ability to support both child advocacy center advocates and mental health professionals in achieving shared goals.

Additional responsibilities include leading mental health workforce initiatives, including CE-CERT (Components for Enhancing Clinician Experience and Reducing Trauma) and reflective supervision efforts, while supporting projects designed to expand access to care.
In partnership with the NECAC programming team and external stakeholders, the Advocate and Mental Health Engagement Coordinator provides technical assistance, project management, and ongoing support to strengthen services, enhance workforce well-being, and improve outcomes for children and families affected by abuse and trauma.
