• 16 Labor Rooms
• 9 Antepartum Rooms
• 3 OR Suites (C-Sections)
• 7 Triage Beds (>20 weeks pregnancy complaints)
• 36 Postpartum Beds
• Up to 400 births per month

• High-risk OB
• Routine obstetric care

• 1:1–2 Labor patients
• 1:2–3 Antepartum

• Must be able to circulate in OR
• Competent in:
  • Normal newborn assessments
  • Routine infant care
• Will float to Postpartum
• May float as house sitter (occasionally)

• Titration Required
• Common Drips:
  • Pitocin
  • Magnesium Sulfate
  • Pain medications

• Charge RN on both shifts (takes assignment)
• 2 OBTs per shift
• 3 Residents + 1 Supervising MD in-house 24/7
• CRNAs on unit 24/7
• Tele in C-section recovery
• EFM System:
  Obix
• Oxygen support:
  Nasal Cannula

• Day: 0630–1900
• Night: 1830–0700
• Weekend:
  Every 3rd (may increase to every other)
• Holidays: 1 Major + 1 Minor
• 2–3 shifts unit-specific orientation
• Surgical scrubs provided
