This position is a 12‑hour night shift with a rotating weekend and holiday schedule.

Night Shift: 6 pm to 6:30 am. Extra night premium. $3,000 sign‑on bonus.

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long‑term care. Provides resident‑centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under supervision of a registered nurse (RN). Knowledge of and delivers age‑appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident per care plan. The NA is expected to follow infection prevention and control policies and PPE use, assist with basic health care needs (bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs, psychosocial support), help residents with transfers and mobility using correct techniques and equipment, provide range‑of‑motion and passive exercises, complete food preparation and dining tasks, assist with meals and snacks, collect non‑invasive body fluid specimens, take vital signs, perform housekeeping and laundry, assist with wellness and recreational programs, and document care and observations.

The NA may participate in departmental committees and task forces as needed.

• High school graduate or GED preferred, not required.
• Minimum age 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long‑term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required within four months of start, or enrollment in a training program.
• Must complete yearly competency testing and maintain continuing education credits (minimum 12 hours/year).
• State‑specific certifications as required.
• May require a valid driver’s license if role classified as a Sanford Category II driver.
