Lied - CNA or Nursing Assistant - Nights

Certified Nursing Assistant – Med Surg (Third Shift)

Location:

Lied Nebraska Medicine, Omaha, NE. 40‑bed medical‑surgical unit. Work with a diverse patient population, including titratable drips, chest tubes, tracheostomies, wound care, high‑oxygen delivery systems, and end‑of‑life care.

• Part‑time or full‑time
• Third shift
• Flexible scheduling

• Perform delegated patient activities assigned by licensed nursing personnel to achieve the patient’s plan of care.
• Provide direct, bedside patient care with a focus on safety, comfort, and dignity.
• Assist with ADLs, vital sign monitoring, and medication rounds as directed.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control procedures.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire from an American Heart Association endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January1,2023 or later).

• Knowledge of computer data entry and word processing.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
