Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled RN for a 9‑week travel assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team.

• One year recent experience as an RN in a long‑term care setting
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification

• ACLS Certification
• Additional certifications as may be required by the facility

• Assess patient or resident health, monitor for changes, and take appropriate action to ensure well‑being
• Develop, update, and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Observe residents for medication reactions or condition changes and report concerns to the provider
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other skilled procedures within scope of practice
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs, delegating appropriately to ensure quality care
• Educate residents and families on medications, treatments, and chronic condition management
• Document care provided, resident progress, and health changes in a timely manner
• Respond quickly to emergencies, delivering critical care and coordinating with medical teams
• Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other professionals for coordinated, comprehensive care
• Perform additional duties as assigned within scope of practice
• Adhere to facility safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency with PC skills
• Physical abilities – remain stationary, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Interpersonal skills – work effectively with diverse personnel, maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism
• Technical/motor skills – perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and assist with procedures using equipment
• Mental requirements – cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with minimal supervision, manage irregular activity schedules, maintain concentration
• Sensory – possess visual acuity and effective communication ability
