Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Oncology RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68124!

Registered Nurse – Oncology PCU

Omaha, NE

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

• Provide direct patient care on a mixed PCU, Oncology, and Med/Surg unit serving an adult patient population
• Manage and titrate drips including chemotherapy, heparin, cardizem, and protonix
• Monitor and respond to hemodynamic parameters including CVP, A-line, Swan, and EV-1000 as needed
• Perform hourly rounding and maintain patient experience standards
• Float to same-level-of-care Med/Surg and PCU units as needed
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case management, social work, and dieticians

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Oncology and/or PCU settings
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps
• Ability to pass a facility-administered open-book skills exam with a score of 90% or higher during orientation

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers will be considered
• Charge nurse experience of at least 1 year preferred
• Familiarity with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Recent EPIC experience within the past 6 months

• Work within a supportive, team-oriented unit that cares for a diverse oncology population across the full continuum from diagnosis through remission
• Access to nursing assistant support, charge nurse coverage, and a full complement of interdisciplinary unit support staff
