As an RN Infusion Nurse at Pure Infusion Suites, you will support our doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The position requires you to be comfortable with infusion and working by yourself alongside office staff. You will specialize in the administration of IV therapy treatments for patients with autoimmune disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care administering biologics and other infusible or injectable medications as ordered, as well as appropriate patient education.
- Start and discontinue IV for infusion therapies.
- Establish PIV access.
- Access PIV & ports.
- Prepare and administer medication (mixing).
- Triage infusion patient inquiries.
- Travel to other locations on occasion.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, offering suggestions and assistance toward continuous quality improvement of patient care.
- Adhere to standards of safety and infection control in the delivery of patient care.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge and comply with all policies and procedures related to the performance of job duties.
- Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience.
- Comprehensive nursing assessment skills.
- Excellent patient assessment and interpersonal skills.
- Clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinic operations.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow with our rapidly expanding organization.
- Ability to collaborate with others and offer outstanding customer service.
- RN degree; BSN preferred.
- Current nursing license for applicable state.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to meet U.S. employment and eligibility requirements.
38 - 46 USD per hour (Pure Infusion of Omaha)
