Pay: $2,300 to $2,355 per week
Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit. This position involves caring for cardiac, vascular, and post‑procedural patients requiring intermediate‑level care. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry skills, experience with cardiac drips, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced acute care environment.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Monitor and care for cardiovascular and stepdown patients.
- Interpret telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive medications as ordered.
- Collaborate with physicians, cardiology teams, and interdisciplinary staff.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Float to comparable units as needed based on staffing requirements.
- Cardiac and vascular patients
- Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
- Atrial Fibrillation with RVR
- Post‑cardiac catheterization patients
- Electrophysiology (EP) patients
- Intermediate care and downgraded ICU patients
- Active RN License
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience
- Recent Stepdown, Cardiac Telemetry, Progressive Care, or Cardiovascular experience
- Current BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification
- Current NIHSS Certification
- Strong telemetry interpretation skills
- Experience titrating cardiac and blood pressure medications
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Management of titratable drips
- Care of post‑procedural cardiac patients
- Critical thinking and rapid patient assessment
