Job Description

This role is truly part-time, with most shifts lasting 4 to 6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week, designed to fit your life.

About the role: Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high‑quality plasma you collect will become life‑changing medicines. A commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.

How you will contribute:

  • Answer phones, greet donors, and ensure donor and team safety.
  • Screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs and finger‑stick results.
  • Use the Donor Information System, prepare charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
  • Help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes using approved procedures.
  • Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

What you bring to Takeda:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, reach above shoulders, and reach below knees.
  • Ability to lift to 5 lbs., occasional lifting up to 32 lbs., and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine‑motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
  • Exposure to blood‑borne pathogens; 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a customer or patient‑facing role (helpful).

Bio Life Compensation and Benefits Summary

Location:

USA - NE - Omaha

Starting Hourly Wage: $16.00

Eligibility for short‑term incentives, medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, disability coverage, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time, company holidays, and well‑being benefits. 80 hours sick time and up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
