Job Description:
This role involves working in a mixed unit with Oncology and Trauma patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The registered nurse must be proficient in titrating drips, including insulin and cardizem, and will have support staff including nursing assistants and various healthcare professionals. The position requires ACLS and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care to patients in the PCU, including oncology and trauma cases.
- Titrate medication drips as needed for patient care.
- Float between Med Surg and PCU units when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Oncology and PCU.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- Must comply with the facility's artificial nail policy.
