Salary Range: $24.00 – $36.00
Travel required to support multiple locations within a 150‑mile radius of permanent address.
- Mileage reimbursement provided for required travel.
- Premium Pay Rates:
- $5/hour premium on all hours worked.
- $1.25/hour weekend shift differential.
- $1.25/hour evening/night shift differential (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Minimum of 30 hours per month.
- One weekend shift per month.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards. Manages care coordination, resident assessment, education, and various nursing interventions.
May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to license and unlicensed assistive personnel within job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and competence level of the delegate. Provides assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care concerns.
Qualifications• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred (e.g., CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA);
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
