Medlivo is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years recent Med‑Surg experience required;
  Oncology experience preferred (ONS certification a plus but not required; travelers will not administer chemotherapy)
• License: Active NE (or compact) RN license required at submission
• Certification: BLS (AHA)
• Unit: 21-bed Med/Surg Oncology unit specializing in post‑operative cancer interventions (prostatectomy, mastectomy, tumor resections) with general medical/surgical population
• Nurse‑to‑patient ratio: 1:5
• Pharmacy: RNs required to titrate drips including heparin, lidocaine, TPN; central telemetry monitoring with RN responsible to identify and respond to changes
• Supervision: Charge nurse and house supervisor available; CNA support varies (approx. 1:15, sitter‑dependent)
• Schedule: 12‑hour nights, 36 guaranteed hours/week; every 3rd weekend; rotating holidays; no call requirement
• Floating: Rare—only to other Med/Surg units if needed
• Orientation: 12 hours plus unit‑specific orientation; must pass open‑book exam with 90% during orientation (Friday testing)
• EMR: EPIC
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs; artificial nails prohibited
• Radius Rule: 50 miles (driver’s license required at submission); cannot be current FT/PT/PRN employee within Common Spirit/CHI/Dignity
