Position Overview

RN – Durham Outpatient Center Family Medicine Clinic – First Shift (United States of America) – Clinic Nurse – $5,000 Sign on Bonus (must meet eligibility).

Position Highlights
  • The Durham Outpatient Center is a patient‑centered medical home (PCMH) clinic providing comprehensive team‑based care all in one place.
  • Services include: treatment of illnesses and injuries, management of acute and chronic diseases, physical exams, pre‑employment exams, health assessments, vaccinations and immunizations, obstetrics services, wellness, health education, lifestyle modification services, and in‑office laboratory testing.
  • The clinic offers a great team culture and a fast‑paced teaching environment for ongoing learners.
Shift Details

Full Time | 1.0 FTE | 40 Scheduled Weekly Hours Monday – Friday | 8:00AM – 5:00PM No Weekends, Holiday, or Call Required.

Job Duties
  • Provide and coordinate delivery of clinical resources to assure safe, high‑quality patient care and ensure continuity of care.
  • Perform duties in an environment where patient needs are short‑term, non‑acute, and non‑life threatening.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s in nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, teamwork, and flexibility.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or current compact state license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) where department dependent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in patient nursing, specialty/primary care clinic, and/or telephonic services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Proficiency with email applications.
  • Experience with EPIC or other electronic medical records.
  • Multi‑state license for Medical Call Center department.
