Registered Nurse

This role involves caring for patients in a mixed acuity unit specializing in neurosurgery. The unit includes 48 beds with a focus on conditions such as strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, and brain and spinal cord tumors. Registered Nurses must prepare to float frequently to meet staffing needs across various units. Patient care ratios include 1:5 days and 1:6 nights for Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, with stepdown ratios of 1:3-4.

Candidates will work within a multidisciplinary team, including care teams and therapists. Weekends require four weekend shifts out of eight possible in a four-week period. Travelers must work two out of three major holidays. This facility is committed to being a 100% nicotine-free environment. Additional request time off must be submitted with the application. Scrubs and specific attire will be mandated upon confirmation.

To qualify, candidates must have experience in large urban hospitals and meet the outlined requirements for care.
