Role
As a Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Your responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring cardiac data, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Duties- Explaining procedures
- Preparing patients for diagnostics
- Documenting care
- Managing multiple patients
- Advocating for patient needs
- Facilitating discharge planning
- Maintaining infection control and adhering to safety protocols
- At least one year of recent Med Surg/Tele RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred: NIHSS and ACLS certifications
- Demonstrated critical thinking, strong communication, physical ability to assist with patient care, and effective teamwork skills
