Provide direct, 1:1 assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention supports (e.g., behavioral therapy services) to children and adolescents diagnosed with severe behavioral disorders. This position will also assist with cleaning, organizing, and preparing case and department materials and systems. All behavioral therapy strategies and intervention components will occur through the implementation of a treatment plan that is prepared and directed by a BCBA or BCBA‑D/Licensed Psychologist.

This role will encounter potentially moderate- to high‑risk care situations that could result in bodily harm to the employee, including property destruction, emotional outbursts, verbal insults, and physical aggression. The position will receive specialized behavior management training.

• High School education or equivalent (Required)
• No experience required (Required)
• No specific license required (Required)
• Ability to positively interact with children
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
• Must remain calm and patient during challenging situations
• Must adhere to the principles and mission of the institute
• Must respond professionally to positive and constructive feedback
• Must build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supervisors, patients, and caregivers

• Must be able to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within 90 days of hire
• Preferred proficiency:
  Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook
• Relevant coursework, specialized training, or equivalent knowledge (Not mandatory)
