Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Role: Travel Stepdown RN responsible for providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical‑surgical units, with a focus on cardiac monitoring and interventions.

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments, assist with cardiac procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient assessments and respond to cardiac emergencies following protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality, adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications; PCCN and NIHSS preferred.
• Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients; mental resilience to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and using PC systems. Key Duties
