Operating Room Registered Nurse

Operating Room Registered Nurse for day shift with possible night shift rotation. There may be off-shifting (1-3 shifts in a week) every 4-week scheduling period, but often there is no off-shifting. Weeknight call requirements average 1-2 nights per week. Weekend call requirements are approximately every 4-5 weeks for 24 hours on Saturday or Sunday and 1-2 days per month. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated.

Previous travel experience is required. Candidates must be 100% nicotine-free. Scrubs will be provided by the facility. Travelers will have different pay structures compared to core staff members. Supervision, interaction, and support from interdisciplinary teams are part of the role. Daily patient census may vary from 1-3 per room. Common cases include craniotomy with aneurysms, craniotomy with tumors, shunts, and various ENT procedures.

Additional cases may involve spinal fusions, laminectomy, and complex surgical procedures.

Nebraska RN State License required. BLS required, ACLS preferred. Must-have:
Must have predominant experience in Neuro skillsets. Experience with Lap chole, Lap appy, Ex lap, I&D, Bariatric, Colorectal, PEG & Trach, and DaVinci cases is required. DaVinci experience is highly preferred. Oncology and Orthopedic experience is highly preferred. Experience with Craniotomy with Aneurysms and Craniotomy with Tumor is required.
