Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology / PCU

Omaha, NE

Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care on a mixed PCU, Oncology, and Med/Surg unit serving an adult patient population
• Manage and titrate drips including chemotherapy, heparin, cardizem, and protonix
• Monitor patients using hemodynamic equipment including CVP, A-line, Swan, and EV-1000
• Perform hourly rounding and maintain a patient-centered care approach across a culturally diverse population
• Float to same-level-of-care Med/Surg and PCU units as needed
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary support team including PT/OT, case management, social work, and dieticians

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of Oncology and/or PCU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• ONS/ONCC certification required
• Competency with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (training available on-site)
• Must pass a facility orientation exam with a score of 90% or higher

• Chemotherapy certification (preferred but not required)
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR within the last 6 months
• Minimum 1 year of charge nurse experience
• Experience with Alaris IV pumps

• Work within a supportive, team-oriented unit that values collaboration, cultural diversity, and compassionate patient care across the full oncology continuum
