Location: Hillcrest Millard

Schedule: Part-Time Overnight | 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
Starting Pay: RN starting at $38.00+ per hour | LPN starting at $31.50+ per hour, depending on experience

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and clinically strong LPN or RN to join our nursing team at Hillcrest Millard in Omaha, NE.

, you will play an important role in providing high-quality overnight nursing care while supporting the comfort, safety, and well-being of our guests and residents.

What You’ll Do

As an LPN or RN
, you will provide direct nursing care while working closely with Nurse Techs, Med Techs, providers, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure guests and residents receive safe, consistent, and compassionate care throughout the night.

You will:

Provide quality nursing care and support to guests and residents.

Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and individualized care plans.

Monitor guest and resident conditions and promptly communicate changes or concerns to the appropriate care team members.

Complete nursing assessments and follow established clinical protocols.

Respond to changes in condition and use sound clinical judgment to determine appropriate next steps.

Support guests and residents with dignity, comfort, safety, and respect.

Partner with Nurse Techs, Med Techs, and other nursing team members to coordinate care throughout the shift.

Provide direction and support to direct-care team members as appropriate.

Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely.

Communicate effectively with guests, residents, families, physicians, providers, and interdisciplinary team members.

Follow infection-control, safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Assist with admissions, transfers, changes in condition, and other clinical needs as they arise.

Help create a calm, supportive, and well-organized overnight environment for guests, residents, and team members.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an LPN or RN who is clinically confident, dependable, and committed to providing compassionate care to aging adults.

The right candidate will be comfortable making clinical decisions during overnight hours, communicating changes in condition, supporting direct-care team members, and balancing multiple resident needs while maintaining quality and safety.

Ideal candidates will have:

Previous experience in skilled nursing, post-acute rehabilitation, long-term care, memory care, assisted living, hospital, or a similar healthcare setting preferred.

Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills.

Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to changes in condition.

Strong attention to detail with medications, treatments, documentation, and care plans.

Excellent communication skills with guests, residents, families, providers, and team members.

Ability to provide direction and support to Nurse Techs, Med Techs, and other care team members.

Strong organization and time-management skills.

Ability to manage multiple clinical priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A calm, flexible, and professional approach during unexpected or stressful situations.

Dependable follow-through and a strong commitment to resident-centered care.

Education & Credentials

Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.

Active RN or LPN license in the state of Nebraska or another Nurse Licensure Compact state required.

Basic Life Support CPR certification required or willingness to obtain within the required timeframe.
