Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (ER) is responsible for providing initial patient assessment, triage, and care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role involves working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality emergency care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize treatment.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and maintain patient records.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Requirements:

• Active RN license.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in emergency nursing.
• Compliance with the facility's policies, including the removal of artificial nails for patient care staff.
