Job Description:
The registered nurse will care for adult oncology PCU and trauma PCU patients in a progressive care unit setting, focusing on a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care for adult oncology and trauma PCU patients.
- Administer chemotherapy, Heparin, Cardizem, and Protonix drips.
- Perform hourly rounding and participate in bedside shift reports.
- Float to other Med/Surg and PCU units as needed.
- Utilize Epic for EMR charting and Alaris for IV pumps.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- ONS/ONCC certification preferred.
- Experience with insulin and Cardizem drips preferred.
- Driver's license required for submittal.
