Description:

36 or 48-hour option and 13 or 26-week contract options are available. Travelers are expected to float frequently to meet staffing needs. If travelers have a preferred unit, please indicate at the time of application. Travelers may be assigned to alternate facilities as needed. Various nursing units may include Medical-Surgical/Telemetry and Critical Care. All nurses must adhere to a nicotine-free policy.

Four weekend shifts are required out of eight possible in a 4-week period. Travelers must work two out of three major holidays. Up to two weeks of requested time off is permitted. Compliance with vaccination requirements is mandatory for employment. Team support includes care techs, transport teams, and other interdisciplinary staff. Travelers will need to wear designated scrubs with facility branding.

Patients include adults and geriatrics with a focus on acute care. Various drips may be encountered in the role, including but not limited to Nitro and Heparin. Candidates should have a solid understanding of cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmia management. This position requires the ability to utilize rapid response and code teams effectively. Travelers must maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of approximately 5-6 during shifts.
