ACN is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to help support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving the highest quality of life possible. This position offers flexible part-time hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a supportive and mission-driven team.
Position Summary The Registered Nurse integrates ACN's Mission and Core Values while ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical and health supports to individuals receiving services. The RN provides direction, training, and oversight to Medication Aides and collaborates with staff, management, and healthcare providers to promote the health and well-being of the people we support.

Key Responsibilities Review medication administration and treatment documentation for persons served
Monitor and provide direction to Medication Aides Conduct Medication Aide training and competency evaluations
Review medication errors and implement corrective training as needed
Assess health and medication-related concerns and consult with staff and management
Provide training and written instructions for specialized medical procedures and medications
Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and healthcare standards
Prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation
Assist with medication destruction as necessary
Promote a positive image of ACN and the individuals we support
Perform additional duties as assigned

Schedule Expectations This position typically works 15-25 hours per week, with scheduling based on the needs of the individuals receiving services. Occasional evening or weekend phone consultation may be required.

Qualifications Required Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the State of Nebraska Ability to legally work in the United States Ability to pass required background checks
Valid driver's license
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professionalism, reliability, and confidentiality
Ability to complete and maintain required training
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams
Preferred
Two years of nursing experience
Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
