Description:

Candidates must not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any affiliated facility. Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care. Refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract. RN's must pass an exam during orientation, with open book resources provided. A score of 90% is required to pass; failure to meet this will result in termination. The work department includes a Cath Lab.

Normal call requirement is approximately 10 days per month. Floating to other departments may be required but specific areas are restricted. Team consists of a call team with four members. There are four suites/labs available, including two Cath labs and two EP labs. Common diagnoses and types of patients include left heart catheterizations with PCI, peripheral cases, structural concerns, pacemakers, and ablations.

The equipment used includes Siemens technology. There is no charge nurse on each shift, and charge nurses do not take assignments. Self-scheduling is allowed with manager approval. Call and holiday requirements will entail 24-hour availability. Floating to all campuses with Cath and EP labs may occur if needed. Requested time-off must be disclosed upfront; additional requests will not be approved.

The facility may cancel up to four shifts during a 13-week assignment. Charting system in use is EPIC. A BSN is not required for this position. This is an acute care setting with Level 1 trauma capabilities. Shifts generally run Monday through Friday.
