Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Omaha, NE | Acute Care

Contract | Day Shift (4x12 Hours, 7:00–19:30) with possible night shift rotation (19:00–7:30) | Onsite

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume operating room environment with a predominant focus on Neuro cases (minimum 3 out of 4 cases)
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a broad range of surgical specialties including general, bariatric, colorectal, oncology, orthopedic, and neurological procedures
• Operate and assist with DaVinci robotic surgical system cases
• Fulfill weeknight on-call requirements (averaging 1–2 nights per week) and weekend call rotation (approximately every 4–5 weeks, covering 24 hours on Saturday or Sunday, 1–2 days per month)
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Adhere to a 100% nicotine-free facility policy and all facility compliance standards

• Active Nebraska RN State License (pending license accepted)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Demonstrated experience with the majority of the following case types:
  Lap Chole, Lap Appy, Ex Lap, I&D, Bariatric, Colorectal, PEG & Trach, and DaVinci cases
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

• DaVinci robotic surgical system experience highly preferred
• Oncology surgical experience highly preferred
• Orthopedic surgical experience highly preferred
• Neurological surgical experience highly preferred

• Work within a large, high-acuity acute care facility recognized as a top-rated hospital in the region, offering exposure to complex and diverse surgical cases across multiple specialties
• Scrubs are provided by the facility, and convenient parking options are available on-site
