Veterinary Receptionist

Chalco Hills Animal Hospital is seeking a Part‑Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our friendly and hardworking team. This is a front‑of‑house role ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and being part of a collaborative veterinary hospital. This part‑time position offers the potential to transition to full‑time as the hospital's needs grow.
No weekends required!

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you'll serve as the first point of contact for our clients and play an essential role in keeping daily operations running smoothly. Ideally, this role is suited for someone with animal care or handling experience, who is comfortable assisting veterinary staff when needed and open to occasionally working shifts as a Veterinary Assistant. This is a Part‑Time position with flexible scheduling options and availability needed Monday‑Friday.

Compensation: $18-$20 per hour, for each hour worked*

• Greet clients and patients in a welcoming, professional manner
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage client communication
• Process payments and maintain accurate medical records
• Assist veterinary staff as needed, including basic animal handling
• Support hospital flow and teamwork throughout the day

• 1+ years of customer service experience
• Comfortable handling animals and assisting clinical staff when needed
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
• Interest in cross‑training and professional growth
