Works closely with: lawn mowing crews, irrigation team,supply yard team, mechanic,operations manager

Mon-Fri,7:00am-5:00pm(hours vary based on time of year); some Saturdays

Dress Code: uniform

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of4years’ experienceoflawn chemical/fertapplicationthat includesoperationof walk behind and ride-on spreaders and aerators
• Minimum of4years’ experienceoperatingcommercial lawn mowing,trimming,and blowing equipment.
• Ideal candidate has Nebraska
  
  Pesticide Applicators license or must obtain within first
  30 daysof employment.
• Experienced with both residential and commercial properties a plus
• Possess the ability to perform preventative maintenance on mowers and other equipment.
• Mustpossessa driver’s license, clean criminal record,and haveability to pass a drug test.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
• Physically able to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body
• Alwaysmaintaina positive and supportive attitude
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Summary: The Fertilizer Crew Leader is an experienced industry professional who is proficient in all aspects of fertilization, weed control and all lawn care services for both residential and commercial markets.

The mainobjectiveis to perform all lawn care applications and functions tomaintainproper turf health per the standards and research provided by the University of Nebraska Lincoln Extension Office.

Candidate will require minimal supervision and conduct all jobs in a safe manner andin accordance withour company core values.
