** Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a qualified Feedyard and Crop Production Employee for this progressive Nebraska cattle feeder.
** This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced agricultural professional who enjoys working around cattle, operating equipment and being involved in the day-to-day responsibilities of a large-scale cattle and crop operation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the operation, including
** cattle feeding, animal health, employee oversight, equipment operation and maintenance, and crop production.
** The employer is looking for someone with a strong agricultural background who can take responsibility, learn the operation and potentially assume additional supervisory responsibilities as their knowledge and abilities develop.#### #### Position Responsibilities Responsibilities will vary according to the candidate's background and experience but may include:

Assisting with day-to-day feedyard operations.
* Learning and participating in cattle feeding responsibilities.
* Monitoring cattle and identifying cattle requiring additional attention.
* Assisting with animal health and cattle-care responsibilities.
* Monitoring cattle performance and production information.
* Reviewing cattle and operational numbers to help ensure the operation is performing efficiently.
* Helping oversee employees involved in cattle and feeding responsibilities.
* Providing direction and assistance to employees as needed.
* Helping ensure employees are completing their responsibilities properly.
* Operating tractors, loaders, trucks and other agricultural equipment.
* Performing routine equipment maintenance and general repairs.
* Assisting with equipment preparation and seasonal maintenance.
* Participating in planting, spraying, harvesting and other crop-production activities.
* Assisting with silage and haylage production.
* Supporting approximately 6,000 acres of crop production.
* Working with the management team to keep cattle, equipment and crop operations moving efficiently.
* Performing other duties associated with a diversified cattle and farming operation.#### #### Potential Management Responsibilities The employer is interested in finding someone who can potentially take on
** additional responsibility over time**.Depending upon experience and ability, the successful candidate may assist with:
* Supervising cattle-feeding employees.
* Monitoring employee performance.
* Reviewing production numbers and records.
* Helping establish daily priorities.
* Training less-experienced employees.
* Identifying problems and bringing them to management's attention.
* Helping ensure cattle are properly cared for.
* Coordinating work between cattle, equipment and farming operations.
