Our client, a well-established industrial manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join its growing quality organization. This is an opportunity to play a key leadership role in driving manufacturing quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while partnering with engineering, production, suppliers, and customers.

What You’ll Do- Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities for new and existing products.
- Develop and maintain Control Plans, PFMEAs, quality plans, and inspection strategies.
- Drive root cause investigations using methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, Fishbone, Fault Tree Analysis, and CAPA.
- Perform statistical analysis including Cpk studies, Gage R&R, SPC, and process capability evaluations.
- Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve quality, reduce defects, and optimize production processes.
- Lead corrective and preventive action initiatives while supporting customer and supplier quality activities.
- Support internal and external audits while maintaining compliance with ISO-based Quality Management Systems.
- Mentor quality engineers and technicians while promoting continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- 4+ years of manufacturing quality engineering experience.
- Hands‑on experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
- Experience supporting welded, machined, fabricated, or assembled products.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools such as Minitab, JMP, Power BI, or advanced Excel.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across engineering, operations, suppliers, and customers.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification is a plus.
- BS Degree is a nice to have.
