Job Description
Join a rapidly expanding team as a Laboratory Assistant, where you'll play a crucial role in media and sample preparation, inventory management, and maintaining sanitation standards in a brand new laboratory setting.
Responsibilities- Prepare media and samples for testing purposes.
- Pull samples for technicians to conduct tests.
- Stock and manage laboratory inventory efficiently.
- Ensure sanitation cleaning of the lab adheres to SOP/FDA standards.
- Experience in laboratory settings, particularly in media and sample preparation.
- Ability to follow SOPs accurately.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field is preferred.
- Open to candidates currently pursuing a degree in Biology or related fields seeking laboratory experience.
This is a part-time position requiring work on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Weekday shifts will be a few hours in the afternoon, while Sunday shifts last approximately 4-6 hours. The laboratory is a newly established facility with modern equipment, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing team in one of the largest third-party testing facilities.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
