Position Summary

The Research Technologist II will assist with the regular functioning of a research laboratory for Dr. Hingorani in the Pancreatic Cancer Center of Excellence. Conduct experiments essential to current and future research projects, discuss findings, and provide suggestions to ensure successful completion of ongoing projects.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct experiments essential to current and future research projects.
  • Discuss findings and provide suggestions for successful completion of projects.
  • Analyze and interpret data.
  • Use computer software for record keeping and graphical representation of data.
  • Organize research supplies and laboratory space.
  • Coordinate activities with other researchers.
  • Serve as a resource for students, fellows, and postdoctoral fellows in the laboratory.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a Scientific field.
  • At least two years of experience in a research laboratory setting, including experience with BMT/Cellular therapy and bone marrow transplant research.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.
  • Knowledge of computer software for record keeping and data visualization.
  • Ability to organize research supplies and laboratory space.
  • Ability to coordinate activities with other researchers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred additional knowledge, skills and abilities:
    Graphing software proficiency.
