Research Assistant - Biomechanics - Other Hourly Worker

• Extract key insights and quantitative metrics from histological and medical images
• Test biological tissues mechanically and analyze and interpret biomechanical data from experimental studies
• Assist in development and testing of benchtop systems for medical device evaluation
• Support data processing, documentation, and reporting
• Assist with large animal surgeries

• Undergraduate/Graduate degree in Biomechanics, Biomedical Engineering, or other related fields
• Experience working with biological tissues and large animal models
• Experience analyzing biomechanical data

• Experience assisting surgeons in operating room
• Experience working with human and animal blood vessels

Regularly sits; may stand, walk. Requires use of hands, ability to see, hear, and speak.

Regularly works indoors. Noise level is low to moderate.

Salary: $21.00 per hour
