As the Beef Research Project Coordinator
, you will:
- Coordinate with Beef Feedlot Unit Manager, weighing, sorting, and allotting cattle on nutrition experiments.
- Collect experimental data, cattle weights, feed records, and packing house data.
- Assist beef nutrition faculty in the design of nutrition experiments and formulation of experimental rations.
- Compile, summarize, and statistically analyze data from experiments.
- Procure special feed ingredients and supplies.
- Coordinate research of graduate students conducted at Beef Feedlot Unit.

MinimumRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in animal science or related field, plus three (3) years of research experience;
OR - Master’s degree in animal science or related field plus one (1) year of research experience.
- Project management and/or supervisory experience.
- Substantial knowledge of the beef nutrition system and industry.
- Experience with data and statistical analysis.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet University driver eligibility criteria.
- Animal production experience preferred but not required.
